A new treated jadeite appeared in the market in recent years, believed to have been originated from China, is a composite material made with powdered jadeite and glass compound. The surface of this "enchanced" jadeite shows a mosaic pattern of green (jadeite) and colourless (glass) fragments under magnification, gas bubbles may be found.
